ICT Training Centre

The Information and Communication Technology Department of ICED is committed to developing and equipping the entire people of Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) with the requisite technological skills to handle information with ease and the highest efficiency. In recent times, the dimension of growth in information technology and management in all spheres of businesses cannot be underrated.

The department therefore trains individuals and corporate bodies in:

Profile of Trainers and Students

The trainers of ICED’s ICT Department are very competent and experienced university graduates and products of the best computer institutions in Ghana. They are motivated and committed to capacitate individuals and organizations to effectively use computer programs and systems to improve their personal and organizational performance.

Due to an extraordinary combination of computer skills, communication skills and human relation skills, the trainers are able to assist the trainees who even have very little previous knowledge of ICT to become very proficient in the application of computer programs and systems. ICED has a state of the art ICT lab which has a very conducive and comfortable environment for learning. Classes and consultancy services are based on the needs of students and clients. A computer is available to each student during the duration of her/his training programme.

Each student is periodically given assignments and project works in order to test her/his understanding and level of ICT competence. At the end of each training programme, exams are conducted and certificates are awarded to successful students. The unsuccessful students are given a chance to prepare and re-sit the exams
